THE ARTS

Much of our art program is centered on maximising the expertise of the great Art teachers in the Pyrenees cluster. The lessons taught at the Cluster Days focus on detailed studies of mediums, periods and artists.

Our school also utilises the skills of a range of artists in our local community, and our students have made sandstone sculptures, totem poles and clay garden artworks. This year, we were part of the Living Landsborough project and the students, in collaboration with an artist-in-residence, painted five panels to display at the local swimming pool and the school entrance.

As we know the importance of developing the creative sides of our students and we have a huge art room with a wide range of art resources.
